As an Elementary School Teacher, you will deliver core instruction in math, reading, and writing, using an engaging, culturally responsive classroom.
You will implement a standards-based ELA curriculum with meaningful texts and build literacy through phonemic awareness, phonics, and vocabulary development.
You will teach social studies and science, including topics like geology, astronomy, ecology, and climate awareness to foster curiosity and civic understanding.
You will differentiate instruction and use data to meet the needs of all learners, collaborating with a principal or instructional coach weekly to analyze student work and assessments.
You will cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom culture, partner with families, support transitions, and participate in weekly school-wide meetings and professional development.
You will engage in ongoing practice-based mentorship and coaching, contribute to a collaborative grade-level team, and uphold commitments to equity, anti-racism, and student achievement.
