Mechanical Engineer - Design & Analysis (Late Career)

Design and deliver production, development, test, integration, and advanced manufacturing tooling and equipment for rocket hardware programs.
Interpret and apply ASME Y14.5 drafting standards to create robust drawings and manage design documentation.
Address a wide range of challenges including fixtures, material handlers, rotisseries, environmental chambers, weldments, and custom machines.
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize cradle-to-grave metrics—safety, cost, quality, cycle time, delivery, reliability, and maintainability.
Lead end-to-end projects, from vendor selection and fabrication to inspection, proof testing, commissioning, and budget/schedule management.
Apply DFMA/ DFA, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and hands-on manufacturing experience to translate concepts into scalable production solutions.
