Back-End Software Engineer – Bracknell

A back-end software engineer in Bracknell will develop production backend services for a cross-border payments platform, handling multi-currency transactions and domain-specific services. This role involves designing APIs, employing system design fundamentals, and working with relational databases and AWS native services. The engineer will ensure the reliability and observability of services in production, collaborating closely with product and compliance teams from problem framing to deployment. Proficiency in C#/.NET and solid experience in distributed systems and async patterns are required, along with daily use of agentic coding tools during the SDLC. Additional experience in payments, microservices, or financial data systems is beneficial, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and caching solutions.
