Part Time Practice Accountant – Fleet

This position involves preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for a variety of small limited companies, with a focus on compliance and accuracy. The role reports to the Accounts Manager and requires strong technical accounting knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Key responsibilities include reviewing bookkeeping records, preparing accounts to FRS 102 Section 1A, and liaising with clients to resolve queries. Candidates should have experience within a UK accountancy practice, particularly with small company accounts, and be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified. Technical skills such as proficiency in Excel and knowledge of UK accounting standards are essential, along with organisational and time management abilities. The role offers flexibility for working at least three days per week, suited to those returning to the workforce or seeking reduced hours.
