On-site Interpreter

This role provides accurate on-site interpretation between English and designated languages across medical, legal, education, and community settings. You will adhere to confidentiality, information-security policies, and ethical standards per industry guidelines. Responsibilities include managing assignments with punctuality, preparation, and adaptability while maintaining neutrality and professionalism. You will continuously expand subject matter knowledge in medical and legal terminology and improve specialized vocabulary. Qualifications include legal authorization to work in the U.S., bilingual proficiency (English plus another language), solid listening and note-taking skills, and familiarity with HIPAA. The position offers competitive per diem compensation starting around $25 per hour and flexible scheduling as a 1099 contractor.
