Interpreter - Variable

Under supervision, performs interpreting and translating between English and a designated second language across healthcare and community settings.
Provides interpretation for meetings, interviews, telephone calls, and both one-to-one and group sessions.
Translates written documents and oral communications, reviewing translations for accuracy in meaning, grammar, and syntax.
Prepares written translations of instructional materials, forms, and educational content for patients and staff.
Utilizes office technology and participates in health department workshops and related activities.
Maintains confidentiality, demonstrates cultural sensitivity, and supports inquiries by clarifying terms and concepts.
