DevOps Engineer – Langley Mill

A DevOps Engineer is responsible for enhancing software delivery, reliability, and operational maturity by working closely with engineering teams to automate build, deployment, and infrastructure management activities. They design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting safe and repeatable software releases while creating Infrastructure as Code and deployment scripts. The role involves enhancing observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting, supporting service resilience, and investigating operational issues to implement sustainable improvements. The position also requires embedding security practices into delivery pipelines, supporting environments, and contributing to standards, practices, and communities of practice. The candidate must possess experience with CI/CD pipelines, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, and observability tools, and have a strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skill set.
