Construction Estimator - Refurbishment

An experienced construction estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates and tender submissions for refurbishment projects, analysing drawings and specifications, liaising with suppliers and clients, and supporting project handover processes. They should possess strong understanding of building practices, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel. The role requires interpreting technical drawings and specifications, managing multiple tenders, and working closely with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive estimates. Candidates should have relevant industry experience, technical knowledge of construction methods, and qualifications such as a degree or HNC/HND in a related field. Membership of professional bodies like RICS or CIOB is advantageous but not essential, with opportunities for career growth within a supportive environment.
