Data Scientist I

As a Data Scientist I, you will translate business challenges into data-driven solutions that leverage machine learning and location intelligence. You will work directly with customers to understand needs and map them to analytics approaches that integrate with GIS workflows. Responsibilities include building scalable analytics systems using data mining, statistics, and ML, and delivering clean, version-controlled code for processing big and streaming data. You will perform feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter tuning, deploying models in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments. You will implement geospatial ML practices and develop reusable components for demonstrations and rapid prototyping, staying current with ML and DL trends. The role requires collaboration across disciplines, strong communication, and the ability to convey results visually to non-technical stakeholders.
