MEP Construction Estimator

We are seeking a seasoned MEP Construction Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes across a NYC project portfolio. You will review drawings and specifications, perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs, and develop competitive hard bids in response to RFPs. You will solicit, evaluate, and analyze pricing from qualified MEP subcontractors and suppliers while aligning scope, pricing assumptions, and project strategy with internal teams. Identify scope gaps, risks, and value-engineering opportunities, and maintain organized estimating files, cost data, and supporting documentation. Support preconstruction meetings and bid reviews, working closely with architects, engineers, clients, and operations to ensure clear understanding of schedules and cost requirements. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, at least five years of MEP estimating experience, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
