A Head Chef is responsible for leading the kitchen team and delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes in a coastal gastro pub. They will oversee food preparation, ensure service readiness, and collaborate with local suppliers to maintain freshness and quality standards. Candidates should have experience in fresh-food gastro pubs, exceptional knife skills, and strong leadership qualities. Technical skills required include kitchen management, menu development, and stock control, within a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and excellent organisational abilities are also essential for success in this role. The position offers a live-in opportunity and a salary package up to £55,000 plus tips.
