Lead end-to-end formulation from concept to benchtop prototypes and stability testing for new food & beverage products. Direct hands-on lab work, guiding scientists in method development, data collection, and sample preparation. Translate formulas into scalable processes, partnering with pilot facilities or co-manufacturers, and troubleshoot during test runs. Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (FDA/FSMA), maintain SOPs, manage ingredient specs, and conduct shelf-life testing. Manage projects, timelines, budgets, and inventory while keeping equipment calibrated. Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and operations to meet launch timelines and cost targets. Source ingredients, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate external testing or pilot work. Mentor a small, high-performing lab team and foster a culture of safety, speed, and scientific rigor.
