De functie
Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians in a gynecologic oncology clinic to support patient care in a clinical environment.
Collects and records patient data prior to visits, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
Prepares and stocks exam and treatment rooms, assists with exams and procedures, and maintains patient flow.
Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as delegated by the RN or physician, and adheres to infection control protocols.
Manages communications by answering calls, processing prescriptions, coordinating scheduling, and notifying physicians of reschedules or no-shows.
Provides administrative support such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception, while complying with clinic policies and standards.
