Assistant Construction Inspector
仕事内容
Under general administrative and technical direction, provide construction inspection on multiple municipal contracts within infrastructure programs.
Monitor contractor work for compliance with plans, specifications, and schedules; inspect concrete formwork, reinforcing steel, piping, pump stations, ADA retrofits, and related installations.
Witness material testing and assist in resolving disputes; ensure safety standards (OSHA) and fire code compliance.
Prepare and archive project documentation including daily inspection reports, force account reports, quantities, and change orders; maintain field measurements.
Participate in pre-construction, coordination, progress, safety tailgate, and other field meetings; support planning and coordination with field staff.
This on-site role requires climbing ladders and working in confined spaces while coordinating with field teams.
