Research Engineer / Research Scientist, Biology & Life Sciences

As a founding member of the Life Science team, you will bridge biology and machine learning to advance AI-enabled discovery in biology. Design and implement evaluation methodologies to measure model capabilities relevant to biological research and applications. Develop strategies to systematically improve model performance on scientific tasks and tackle long-horizon reasoning. Collaborate with domain experts to establish benchmarks, curate high-quality data, and translate biological knowledge into machine learning objectives. Lead data pipelines and work with large-scale biological datasets using Python and modern ML tooling. Balance rigorous scientific standards with rapid experimentation, uphold ethical AI practices, and drive impact across the research lifecycle.
