Assist in monitoring security alerts and logs and support initial incident triage.
Perform routine vulnerability scans, remediation tracking, and ensure configurations meet security standards.
Support compliance initiatives by collecting evidence for audits and maintaining security documentation.
Apply foundational knowledge of cloud, network, operating system, and application security across environments.
Leverage familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or NIST SP 800-53 to inform controls and regulatory awareness (HIPAA, FERPA, FedRAMP/GovRAMP).
Develop hands-on skills with SIEMs and vulnerability scanners while contributing to a growing security program.
