仕事内容
Conduct field inspections of buildings and properties to enforce municipal codes and safety standards, including fire prevention measures.
Inspect construction, alteration, or repair work for compliance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable ordinances and laws.
Explain local building codes, zoning ordinances, and other regulations to contractors and the public, and issue condemnation notices when unsafe conditions are identified.
Investigate complaints, enforce violations, and prepare reports while maintaining records and analyzing data as needed.
Perform planning tasks, conduct environmental reviews and field surveys, and develop presentation materials for meetings when required.
Meet certification requirements within specified timeframes (ICC, UCC) and maintain a valid driver's license; travel to sites and attend meetings as needed.
