Municipal Civil Engineer

Plan, design, and manage municipal civil engineering projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and streets, for local and government agencies. Responsibilities include field inspections, measurements, and condition assessments to support design and construction. Manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D is required, with familiarity of IDOT, MFT, and local agency processes. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 2–5 years of experience, with FE or PE certification or expected certification. The position supports a hybrid work program, combining in-office and field-based construction engineering and observation.
