Cloud Engineer – Dundee

A cloud engineer at the Care Inspectorate is responsible for supporting and maintaining Azure solutions, enhancing cloud resource performance and security, and supporting incident and change management. They design, implement, and support Azure solutions across compute, storage, networking, and security, ensuring resilience and disaster recovery measures are in place. The role involves monitoring cloud resources for efficiency, maintaining security controls, and supporting technical documentation and reporting. Collaboration with IT colleagues and third-party suppliers is essential to ensure services remain secure, reliable, and continuously improved. The position requires technical expertise, strong service delivery skills, and the ability to support cloud procurement and knowledge sharing across teams. The role reports to the Service Delivery Manager and involves supporting IT operations, technical change delivery, and service resilience.
