Finance AI Engineer

Lead the end-to-end development of Claude-powered finance tools that allow natural language querying, automated reporting, and document processing for finance teams. Collaborate with FP&A, accounting, and systems groups to identify high-impact automation opportunities and translate them into production-ready AI workflows. Design and implement OCR, document parsing, and data extraction pipelines to convert unstructured documents (invoices, contracts, statements) into structured data. Establish deep knowledge of the financial data architecture (BigQuery, accounting conventions, business logic) and encode it into AI-powered tools. Own the lifecycle from discovery through deployment, scoping with users, prototyping, feedback collection, and iterative production release. Contribute to the Finance AI platform, including evaluation frameworks, scheduled workflows, and user-facing collaboration features.
