Take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, backend-focused solutions in a cloud-native environment, leveraging Python, TypeScript, AWS, and event-driven architectures.
Lead architectural discussions, identify scaling bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions while collaborating with frontend engineers on clear API contracts.
Develop clean, high-performance services and APIs with emphasis on reliability, observability, and security.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence through thoughtful reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement.
Own production systems in a DevOps culture, using CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring/observability tools like Datadog and Sentry.
Partner with product managers and leadership to enable growth initiatives and integrations with external partners, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.
