Independently manage the Beneficiary Travel Program within the Veterans Health Care System.
Authorize transportation at government expense for beneficiaries traveling to and from VA and private-sector facilities for examinations, treatment, or care.
Coordinate travel logistics, verify eligibility, and ensure program compliance with applicable policies and timelines.
Document and maintain travel records, reimbursements, and program data.
Collaborate with healthcare teams and transportation vendors to optimize service delivery.
Provide guidance to beneficiaries and facility staff to facilitate smooth transportation arrangements.
