Legal Counsel

Seeking an attorney to advise on government contracting, defense programs, and IP protection. Support negotiation and administration of government contracts and subcontracts, including FAR/DFARS and CMMC flow-downs. Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements: customer contracts, subcontracts, teaming, licenses, and NDAs. Provide guidance on data rights, IP ownership, and licensing strategy; collaborate with engineering and program teams. Manage regulatory risk, coordinate audits (DCMA, DCAA), and address disputes related to contracts, IP, or data rights. Help develop contracting best practices, policies, and training; assist with mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures; occasional travel to client and site locations.
