Senior Nuclear Process Engineer – Warrington

NRL is seeking a senior process engineer to support a major nuclear decommissioning project by delivering detailed design during the Define phase. The role involves working in a hybrid environment, based in Warrington or Cumbria, with three days on-site weekly, for a Chartered Chemical Engineer. The engineer will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, prepare process design deliverables, and present designs at reviews while ensuring safety case substantiation and compliance with regulations. The role requires strong technical expertise in process engineering within the nuclear sector and experience working in a highly regulated environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of nuclear safety standards and process simulation tools.
