Provide civil legal services to low-income clients in the Norristown office, focusing on landlord and tenant matters, evictions, and housing rights.
Conduct client interviews, eligibility screening, fact investigation, legal research, and analysis of statutes and regulations.
Draft briefs, pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other court documents; prepare strategy and witness preparation.
Represent clients in trial and appellate courts, and at administrative and quasi-judicial hearings; pursue potential appeals as appropriate.
Engage in community education, clinics, and outreach; collaborate with teams to meet office and program goals; participate in grants compliance and reporting.
Maintain client files and case notes in the case management system; commit to ethical practice and professional development; bilingual Spanish preferred.
