Cyber Security Analyst – Wakefield

A Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents and supporting baseline security analysis in operational technology projects. The role involves managing operational components, coordinating incident management, and reviewing audit trails, system logs, and monitoring data to ensure policy compliance. The analyst conducts threat analysis reviews and threat hunting activities within security operations and assists in programme improvements and risk management. They participate in sharing information with other teams and continuously monitor network traffic, security alerts, and system logs for suspicious activity. The position requires extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack and interest in cyber security within operational technology environments.
