Attorney I is an early-to-mid level role that supports routine matters with increasing independence under supervision in a Midland, TX practice.
Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and agreements; performing legal research; and maintaining case documentation and deadlines.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and participate in client communications appropriate to experience level.
Achieve annual targets for billable hours (1,200), origination ($75,000+), and business development (5–8%).
Develop strong drafting, research, time management, and professional communication skills; demonstrate coachability and professionalism.
On-site role with regular court appearances in regional venues and travel within Texas as needed.
