Android Developer – AI Apps

This is a founding Android role focused on building production-grade apps that connect real-world inputs (camera, microphone, files) to powerful AI backends.
You will design and implement Kotlin-based Android systems that deliver low-latency, offline-capable experiences with robust streaming, retries, and partial results for AI features.
Responsibilities include integrating AI capabilities (chat, vision, voice, recommendations) via backend APIs, handling camera/audio workflows, and implementing background processing.
You will optimize performance, memory usage, and reliability, design API contracts with backend/AI teams, and ensure security and scalability in production.
You will own features end-to-end, ship production-ready code, and define mobile engineering standards from day one.
This role requires strong async programming, familiarity with REST/gRPC, and a willingness to work at the boundary of device, network, and AI systems.
