We are seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022, focusing on security, performance, and high availability.
Responsibilities include database design, maintenance, indexing, stored procedures, and report development with SSRS.
Work in clustered server environments and apply best practices for data models, metadata, and data integration across data lakes, warehouses, and data marts.
Implement backup, log shipping, replication, disaster recovery, and DR/HA strategies while planning and executing cloud migration initiatives.
Upgrade SQL Server instances to the latest versions, mirror servers, and set up reporting infrastructure and maintenance jobs.
Requires Top Secret clearance and ability to collaborate across legal data needs in a fast-paced environment.
