Data Engineer - Insurance

As a Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain robust data infrastructure to support critical business decisions and growth. You will design and develop scalable data pipelines across multiple systems to ensure seamless data flow. You will write functionally correct, modular SQL queries and Spark-based data transformations. You will work with data warehouses and distributed storage solutions such as Hive, Presto, BigQuery, and Snowflake to store and access data. You will apply data modeling concepts to datasets of varying complexity and collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers to deliver data-driven solutions, while participating in code reviews. You will respond promptly to data pipeline incidents and maintain runbooks, dashboards, and alerts, ensuring data quality through testing and monitoring. Requirements: 3+ years in data engineering, proficiency in SQL, strong programming skills (Python/Scala/Java), experience with data pipeline frameworks (Spark, Airflow), familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, Git, and a Bachelor's degree.
