Senior Cloud Engineer – Leeds

A senior cloud engineer at CreateFuture is responsible for designing, building, and operating Kubernetes infrastructure for AI workloads using Terraform and GitOps. The role involves developing CI/CD pipelines tailored to AI systems, defining SLOs and SLAs, and managing incident response and root cause analysis to ensure platform reliability. The engineer will instrument observability metrics for latency, cost, and error rates, implementing monitoring dashboards and alerting systems. They will embed financial and operational best practices through FinOps, security, and compliance measures across multiple cloud environments. Collaboration with client teams to integrate operability, risk management, and documentation from project inception is essential. The position demands profound technical expertise in Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and AI systems, along with stakeholder management and operational handover skills.
