Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote UK

A senior DevOps engineer is required to join a small engineering team working on infrastructure in the payments industry. The role involves validating, hardening, and maintaining an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster with a focus on security and automation. The candidate will be responsible for managing the GitOps pipeline, securing the platform using Azure Managed Identity and secrets, and overseeing authentication processes with MSAL and Databricks. They will assess existing proof-of-concept infrastructure and implement enhancements, as well as document procedures for ongoing support. The role demands strong hands-on experience with AKS, Kubernetes, Azure identity management, GitOps, and the ability to integrate with existing teams and workflows. The position offers an immediate start, initially intensive, then flexible, fully remote work during UK hours, collaborating closely with the technical lead.
