The role involves authoring high-fidelity reasoning traces and designing structured decision-making processes for large language models in a remote contract setting. Responsibilities include reviewing and mentoring trace quality, developing data strategies to expose models to edge cases, and pushing the boundaries of AI reasoning and action. Successful candidates will have deep knowledge of model reasoning, training methodologies, and LLM evaluation techniques, with the ability to decompose complex problems into well-documented steps. They should be self-motivated, precise thinkers, comfortable working autonomously in an asynchronous environment. Additional experience in data annotation, AI research, or top-tier competition results is advantageous, offering exposure to frontier AI training and evaluation.
