AWS DevOps Engineer – Wigan

An AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS and modern DevOps practices. The role involves developing Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform and CloudFormation, as well as building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD. The engineer manages containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring platform performance, security, and scalability. Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CloudWatch are utilised to enhance observability. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and experience in secure environments are essential, and knowledge of DevSecOps and Zero Trust security practices are preferred.
