Database Administrator – Craigavon

A database administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server environments, supporting security, access management, and backup procedures. The role includes delivering database improvements, upgrades, and migration projects, as well as supporting high availability and disaster recovery implementations. The administrator participates in on-call support and incident management processes within an IT environment. Candidates should have strong experience with MS SQL Server in complex enterprise settings, expertise in performance tuning, security, HA/DR, and Azure SQL, and knowledge of SQL scripting and PowerShell. Familiarity with ITIL service management practices is also essential in this role.
