Carpenter – Nuneaton

A Carpenter/Joiner is responsible for executing first and second fix carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, fitting doors, skirting, and staircases, while ensuring high quality workmanship and adherence to technical drawings and safety standards. The role involves measuring, cutting, and shaping timber and other materials, installing fitted furniture and bespoke joinery, and performing general labour tasks including material movement and site preparation. Candidates should have proven experience, knowledge of building regulations, the ability to interpret drawings, and be physically capable of demanding tasks. Working independently or collaboratively, they are expected to maintain tools, check work accuracy, and communicate effectively with team members and clients. The position requires a valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel. The work environment is based on-site with casual dress code, free parking, and a focus on safety and organisation.
