Data Scientist Intern (TikTok-Product-Data Science)-2026 Summer (PhD)

Define and track success metrics to measure product growth and surface emerging problems through monitoring and forecasting.
Apply quantitative analysis, data mining, and experimentation to develop and test strategies for product optimization.
Quantify the impact of strategies using causal inference and deliver actionable insights through deep-dive analyses.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategy.
The internship lasts 12 weeks with start dates in May–June 2026 and requires presenting findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications include pursuing a PhD and proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R), plus experience in forecasting, statistics or causal inference, and classification methods.
