Data Engineer, Economic Research

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale, privacy-preserving data pipelines that transform Claude usage logs into reusable datasets for economic analysis.
Design and implement robust data models and pipelines that support cross-source ingestion, external data, and interoperability for research needs.
Expand privacy-preserving tooling and build novel data systems leveraging language models (e.g., CLIO) where traditional patterns don't exist.
Own the economic research data foundations roadmap, driving strategic direction and governance to meet privacy and retention requirements.
Create documentation and promote self-serve data access for researchers while enforcing security and governance standards.
Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, Data Infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams to align tooling, infrastructure patterns, and data resources.
