Data Scientist - Perception Verification and Validation

Lead the development of evaluation datasets and metrics to quantify the perception stack's performance and its impact on the end-to-end autonomous driving system. Define and operationalize KPIs that enable perception engineers to assess new features. Create scalable data pipelines and production-grade code in Python, SQL, and Spark/Scala to support large-scale evaluations. Analyze large-scale metric results to identify failure modes and inform product strategies. Apply statistical methods to quantify uncertainty in performance metrics and support robust decision making. Present findings to leadership and cross-functional teams, translating data-driven insights into actionable improvements.
