Machine Learning Manager - Applied ML (NYC)

Lead and grow a high-performing Applied ML team on the East Coast, delivering production-grade AI solutions for enterprise customers.
Define the long-term vision and roadmap for custom model development, fine-tuning, and multi-modal AI across modalities such as reasoning, code, RAG, and agents.
Own people leadership: hire, mentor, and empower ML engineers, establish scalable processes, and foster a culture of ownership and rapid execution.
Collaborate with Product and executives to translate customer needs into scalable ML products and reusable frameworks.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to strategic customers, guiding prototyping through production deployment on customer infrastructure.
Evaluate model performance in real-world enterprise environments, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and business impact.
