Data Protection & Commercial Contracts Counsel

Lead the data protection program, develop policies, and drive regulatory compliance across the organization.
Advise IT leadership, the General Counsel’s office, and senior management on privacy developments, AI governance, and risk mitigation.
Review, draft, and negotiate data processing agreements and client/vendor contracts to protect data and support business goals.
Coordinate with Records Management and IT to align retention schedules, destruction policies, and technical safeguards with privacy controls.
Support data protection audits, due diligence requests, RFP responses, breach response, and incident remediation efforts.
Design and deliver data protection training to attorneys and business professionals to foster a compliant security culture.
