Oversees the daily operations of a divisional administrative and financial management unit, aligning activities with the organization’s mission and strategic plan.
Develops and manages budgets and financial reporting for grants, general appropriations, endowments, gifts, and other funds, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Provides overall planning and direction for a large, multifaceted academic, research, and teaching department within the School of Medicine, including clinical and administrative functions.
Manages general appropriation, endowment, federal and non-federal grants and contracts, and gift funds; ensures policy integration and fiscal integrity across the unit.
Improves business processes, controls expenditures, and directs special projects such as space renovations, staffing, equipment purchases, and off-campus leasing.
Leads faculty recruitment and collaborates with Division Chiefs to ensure clinical assignments align with financial goals and strategic priorities.
