Data Scientist 5 - Availability

As a Data Scientist focused on Availability, you will develop metrics to measure the availability, reliability and performance of our infrastructure stack, and partner with data engineers to productionize these metrics.
You will build dashboards and data products that provide visibility into system health and guide prioritization of reliability improvements.
You will conduct root cause analysis and causal inference to diagnose incidents and recommend remediation actions to cross-functional teams.
You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Performance Engineers and Technical Product Managers to define what 'adequate' performance looks like and shape data-driven roadmaps.
You will design experiments, apply statistical modeling and create scalable data pipelines (SQL, Python, Airflow) to support ongoing availability work.
You will communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, build strong partnerships, and thrive in ambiguous environments with minimal oversight.
