Candidates should have a degree related to construction, five or more years of estimating experience, and proficiency in estimating software such as CostX or Bluebeam. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential. A good understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers is also required for success in this role.
