Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer – Leeds

The cloud and infrastructure engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable delivery, operation, and improvement of global cloud and infrastructure services within an enterprise IT environment. This role involves translating architectural designs and business needs into stable, secure, and scalable solutions while driving automation, resilience, and operational efficiency. The engineer collaborates with architects, security teams, and service providers to optimise infrastructure platforms and support major incidents, ensuring compliance with security standards and managing lifecycle activities. They implement cost optimisation, automation, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives, and maintain technical documentation to support governance and operational activities. Experience in managing hybrid cloud environments, Azure, AWS, VMware, network infrastructure, and container platforms such as Kubernetes are required to succeed in this role.
