Estimator – Hitchin

The role involves calculating build costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, and collaborating with preconstruction teams and supply chain partners. The estimator will prepare cost plans, guide design teams, and contribute to tender processes across various design stages. They will also support procurement activities, evaluate alternative design solutions, and assist in change control processes. Candidates should possess strong numeracy, technical, and communication skills, with relevant qualifications such as a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. The role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, resourcefulness, and effective time management to meet project deadlines.
