Electrical Engineer – Stockton-on-Tees

An electrical engineer is responsible for installing and managing electrical cable systems, wiring, and components within workshop and on-site settings worldwide. They perform fault-finding, testing, and commissioning to ensure systems meet industry standards and regulations. The role involves building panels and switchgear, maintaining safety standards, and adhering to project specifications. The engineer will travel internationally, staying away from home for periods, and may be involved in upgrades and modifications of electrical systems. Strong technical skills, flexibility, a driver’s licence, and willingness to travel are essential. The position requires completing a time-served apprenticeship, possessing a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, and some offshore safety training.
