A Database Administrator in Craigavon is responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server environments across on-premise and cloud platforms. The role involves supporting database security, access management, patching, backup, and recovery processes, as well as delivering improvements, upgrades, and migration projects. The person will support high availability and disaster recovery solutions and participate in on-call support and incident management. Candidates should have extensive experience with MS SQL Server in complex environments, expertise in performance tuning, security, HA/DR, and Azure SQL, along with knowledge of SQL scripting and PowerShell. Experience working within ITIL service management frameworks is also required.
