A Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating product delivery across deployment and production environments, designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and managing high-availability workloads in Kubernetes and Docker. The role involves provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, working across Azure and on-premise environments, and monitoring platform health using observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog. The candidate will mentor junior engineers and contribute ideas to improve DevOps practices. Essential skills include hands-on experience in DevOps or similar roles, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, scripting skills, and infrastructure as code. Desirable attributes include knowledge of security practices, experience with data platforms, and cloud certifications.
