A cybersecurity lead software and DevOps engineer is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. They develop reusable security patterns, lead security engineering initiatives, and build new security environments, frameworks, and components, including proof of concepts. The role involves managing stakeholder requirements in a dynamic landscape and leading a team of engineers to achieve objectives. They will drive security initiatives in IAM, secrets management, CI/CD pipeline security, and supply chain security, utilising native cloud vaults and HashiCorp Vault. Operating independently, they influence architectural decisions and guide technical adoption across projects. Suitable candidates will have qualifications or extensive experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
